Variations & Duplicate products option

The design and ease of use of this plugin is the best by far that I have come across, its only let downs is that there are no variation options and because of this I'm having to add what feels like a billion products that are exactly the same but one for each colour, eg a t-shirt with twenty different designs and colour options. It will work well with attributes when customers search by using the filters but the input task is so time consuming.
Any chance of the duplicate product button and some variations soooooon please!

Product variations are at the top of our list and we're working on them right now. There's various plugins around for duplicating posts (products) so give one of those a whirl :-)

Found One! Confused as it said posts rather than products. This one adds a duplicate link under the product.
Duplicate Post - Creates a copy of a post.

I installed the Duplicate Post plugin and it works great. However, it only seems to duplicate the product and not the long list of variations/pricing configurations associated with that product, which is the long, tedious and repetitive work I was hoping to avoid.
In short, my client has several products that have variations based on two attributes (ex: A and B) with each attribute having several options (ex: A1, A2, A3, A4, A4 and B1, B2, B3, B4, B5). As the price for each combination selected is slightly different (A1 + B1, A1 + B2, A1 + B3, etc.), hence the importance of the variations feature (thank you for 0.9.9!), I am stuck having to add 50 configurations for each product that shares these same attributes/options.
If Duplicate Post does, in fact, duplicates the variations, please let me know how because I must have missed it. If Duplicate Post does not do that, please let me know if there is any way to take the 50 configurations created for one product and transfer/duplicate them for another product? Thanks in advance.

Yes it copies the product details, but not the variations. That's probably the biggest bit of the issue - I would also take a guess that this could be more on the duplicate-post end, as it simply doesn't know to duplicate those fields?
Would be awesome to use, and otherwise makes Jigo a little too much work for me.
It there another option out there that does have this functionality?

Thank you for the reply. The duplicate plugin and also the export and import products and variations functions don not duplicate the variations of a product. So all variations have to be applied by habd again. Is there a way to also copy the products variations (including images and prices etc)?
Also what exactly does the export variations function do?

Still not, but there is (sort of) workaround solution with the Jigoshop
Product Importer Deluxe to Mass Upload from CSV files (with the
variations). Maybe this helps?

Cool, that could work. In the description of that add-on they are saying "...or you have a large number of products to keep updated...", does this mean when you have hundreds of products with complex variations and you have to change the prize for all of them, you could just make those changes in your CSV file, then re-upload and jigo applies the changes to your existing products? That'd be very sweet.

Just wanted to update everyone on this in case anyone searches the forum for this topic. Today I was finally able to get the 1.3 RC1 beta to duplicate products with variations intact. Not sure how I am going to integrate this with Jigoshop yet, but stay tuned :)
