SSL Redirect
Hi, my name is Andre from Brazil, and I got a question. Jigoshop always point to SSL address from domain, like https://www,fotografeagora.com but sometimes we use a sharing hosts that have a sharing ssl certificate like https://fotografeagoracom1.ipage.com, how to setup Jigoshop to always point to this domain instead the other one that doesnt have a valid certificate?
cheers

I have the same question. I am using a Shared SSL and trying to set up jigoshop. Can it be done ? Do I need a dedicated SSL Cert ?
Please advise

I have the exact same problem. I host over 50 websites and they use a shared SSL. Is there anyplace to change this in the code? I am not afraid of digging into code...just need to be pointed...thanks!

John,
I'd like to get something developed for this request. Could you email me so we could talk about it in detail? matt.gates @ jigoshop.com

After several discussions with Matt via email, and suggesting that there has to be a way for cookies to be preserved during a shared session since Zen Cart does it, and after suggesting that the fix would be to always have Jigoshop be under a secure certificate from beginning to end and that the user should be able to specify the secure certificate path in general settings, Matt pointed me to a WP plugin that forces secure connections. Unfortunately it also doesn't work with shared SSL. So this topic is unresolved, and since I am using Headway, I need to alert folks in the forum that Jigoshop will not work with a shared certificate. A real downer since one of the web-hosting companies they recommend regularly uses shared ssl and Jigoshop was the first e-commerce software to roll out a Headway block for the new version of Headway.

There has to be a plugin out there that can redirect certain pages to another URL. We'll of course log this suggestion and review it for a future version, but just in the interim I'm positive there's a solution for you on the wp plugins list.
