Can't update shop options

After I edit the shop options, it reverts back to the defaults and flashes a message saying "" settings were updated successfully.

   that's a glitch in v1.4.4

   the work-around is when you're on the shop page from Jigoshop->settings, click on the tab 'shop'. That will reload the page again, providing a new url.

   you'll be able to update your settings now.
