Omit Payment Processor?

My client is interested in setting up a store but with no payment gateway. All they need is an email to state that a customer wants to purchase a product, and they will then organise payment manually.
Is this possible?

Your going to need a custom programmer to make a payment gateway. What he needs to do is something like this:
Disable shipping (something you can do already in Jigoshop). Then use a filter to remove both the billing and shipping fields. Then when they click checkout either hold the order as unpaid in the backend or email it to a manager.
I would post this on jobs and see if there are any takers.

You know actually. You could do this:
1. disable checking
2. use the cheque payment gateway
3. remove the billing and shipping details on checkout minus the phone number, name and email (for contacting them). Then the cheque one will auto-hold it in the backend anyway because normally you would have to approve that a check has cleared.
If you want me to try, I can give it a run tonight but no guarantees.
