Hi! I'm currently using another eCommerce product on my site, but am in the midst of developing a new site and have installed Jigoshop. I offer printable files and need to be able to offer a file in a choice of colors, without having to add multiple products. I did a search of these forums and see there are a couple of topics pertaining to this issue, none of which have a resolution or have been updated for months.

I configured my product as a downloadable type, added attributes, but I don't see a dropdown or any sort of mechanism for a custom to chose a color on the actual product page.

Hmm. I don't believe you can use variations on a downloadable product.

Thank you for the quick response Chris! So, as I stated, I found other threads re: the ability to do this that were unresolved. So are you stating it's not currently available (yet) or that it won't ever be available? :)

I ask because it might be a deal breaker for me with Jigoshop and I might need to go back to the paid eCommerce plugin I was previously using, even though it's not as user-friendly or attractive to use!

    Thanks!

Since it's a downloadable product, there is no variations tab showing in order to accomplish this.

Hi! Developers say that you create a variable product and then variations
can be downloadable, if this helps you.
