Shipping Options
I would very much appreciate some support from the staff at jigoshop regarding shipping options - my company have recently invested in your system, purchasing plugins etc only to find that there is no option for 'next day delivery' which is a standard requirement. Before we make any further investments, and before we write our reviews on our content networks, please could you advise as to what can be or is being done about this?
Thank you in advance

that is the million dollar question. I think most people are waiting for this particular requirement to be implemented.

What type of shipping charge is next day shipping? Is it a flat rate (static) or some sort of scaled (dynamic prices).
In other words, if I buy 5 things from your store for next day shipping, is my charge:
$10 flat price regardless of # of items $25/item or some other way?
If you guys can explain to me how it works I might be able to help you.

So it's a flat rate?
Does the price for next day delivery depend on the number of products or is it a flat rate. For instance, lets say I have 2 products in my cart:
Is the price for NextDayShipping:
$5/product * 2 prodicts= $10 or
$10/flat rate=$10

No, it's just a flat fee - here is requirement from client:
We will have three fixed economy delivery charges based upon the value of the order eg.
Orders up to £150 £25.00
Orders between £151 - £500 £15.00
Order Over £500 FOC
There would be added charges for:
Next Day delivery £10.00;
Timed Delivery £25.00;
Saturday delivery £30.00 which the customer would select at checkout.
thanks for your help

My requirement is completely flat rate no matter how many products. Standard shipping is £3.99 & next day is £6.99. These prices will not change no matter how many products are ordered.

@tpiggott For the Based on total half of the charges you do, you can do that part via the Table Rate Shipping plugin. The second, half can be achieved by creating a modification of the flat rate shipping module.
@damonjameel you would need a modification of the flat rate shipping module.
If you guys want to send an email to [email blocked], I can try to get the mod of the flat rate module done late this week or next week, but no guarantees.

Hi Chris - I purchased the Table Rate Shipping module as suggested, still need to add:
'Next Day' 'Timed Delivery' (specify am/pm) 'Saturday delivery'
Now the release of 1.3 has been made, is this now possible? Can you do a modification of the flat rate shipping module?
I'm no programmer, but could the flat rate module be cloned and set as 'Next Day' and 'Saturday'?
Need this urgently now as website needs to go live!
Many thanks
Trevor
