Joy, the "export to csv", by chance is this on the importer deluxe plugin? If so, that link goes here:
http://www.visser.com.au/jigoshop/plugins/exporter/
I've tested and the importer is fully functional. The link is fully functional as well, it links off-site to Visser.com.au. So what's all the fuss?
Jestermike has put it very well :).

First of all, you don't know how much get paid or my expenses, or even how
much time I have put in off the clock. For me it is not "a little money"
WE will just have to agree to disagree. Fair enough?

Thank you Matt. You have been extremely helpful. Yes, it was the premium
importer. I also found some sample csv samples which is what I was looking
for. I was hoping to export the one product I created as many of the
variations on that model would be repeated on many others. I hope it works

Ooops. That last post was meant for another forum.

Unfortunately I don't believe the importer has variations functionality yet.

It doesn't work. Both the Store Export pluggin and the Product CSV export function (2 different plugins) both bring me to a http://airconditioners-r-us.com/wp-admin/page=jigo_ce which is a nonexistent page on my site.
39 Posted by joy on 19 Jun, 2012 11:59 PM
It does support attributes up to a point. Out of like 8 attributes it only imported 4. Perhaps I didn’t set up the CSV file right. IDK I will have to play with it more. At least some of my stress has been lifted after a successful, albeit incompletely import. Would help a lot if the export function worked. That has been the bain of my existence for the past few days.

Correct. However, I have both the premium product importer and Jigoshop store exporter and get the same result whenI try to export anything. If it is working for you I wonder if it may possibly be a plugin conflict. I know about the Yoast wp seo plugin and have deleted it. I will disable most of my other plugins and find out if any of them are the cause of my issue. I know some other people are experiencing the same problem.
I love the way Jigoshop displays product and how scalable it is. I really hope I can get it to work in the way I need it to.

I have disabled EVERY plugin except Jigoshop and the Jigoshop plugins and still get the same result. Taken to a non-existent page http://airconditioners-r-us.com/wp-admin/jigo_ce in both the "Store Export" plugin and the "Premium Product Import" Plugin when I click on the export option. I have updated today - June 18. Still does not work in 3 browsers. I think I have eliminated many of the possible conflicts. I am at a loss at this point. The product import isn't perfect but ti works to a degree. I still have to go into individual product and double check the attributes. Some import and others don't.
42 Posted by Joy H on 20 Jun, 2012 05:25 AM
I updated today with the same result on 2 separate computers using 3 different browser. I am still directed to a nonexistent page. The import function eliminates several attributes. I've been doing this over and over with the same result post plugin 6/18/2012 update. Isn’t that the definition of insanity? I also disabled EVERY non Jigoshop plugin. Nothing has changed. I found a sample CSV file on the Vissar Labs site and successfully added 4 products but no product attribute variations so I still had to go into every single attribute and product to make adjustments. Very tedious. 5 out of 500 plus products to go!?!?!?!?!?!? Very daunting. I had high hopes the update would work because I like the way Jigoshop displays product but...
I can't justify the time to my employer. I don’t know anymore.

Where in the hell, can we buy the plugin ? The link is broken !

No need to curse.
It's been taken offline because so many people complained about it. We're still discussing what to do with it.
45 Posted by uahac on 29 Jun, 2012 05:29 PM
Sorry, You Re right. No need to curse. It's just so frustrating sometimes
because Jigoshop is the 5th ecommerce I have tried and find myself working
around it because I love the way it displays products. The simplest product
I have has 8 attributes and they always upload in reverse order. It would
have been so much easier if I could have exported a product to use as a
template. Know what I mean? I will have hundreds of products with more than
8 attributes so the task at hand seems daunting. It also doesn't play well
with my custom theme so I am redesigning using 2011. More work than I
anticipated at the onset.

The import export feature was one of the primary reasons I chose Jigoshop. Without it Jigoshop is less than useless for me and I will have to seek ecomerce plugin #6. The main reason I chose Jigoshopt over Cartt66 as my next ecommerce plugin is that Cart66 has no intentions of adding an import/export plugin now or EVER. Why won't Michael Visser update his plugin? I'm not so far into the project that I won't abandon Jigoshop but at this point I would really like to continue using it. I hate Woocomerce and it would be very disheartening to go to my boss on Monday and explain why this process is taking so long. He's not patient and when he want's something done he has no patience for excuses and if I cannot accomplish the job he needs he will just find someone else.
47 Posted by JOY HEIER on 30 Jun, 2012 08:19 PM
I just read that Michael has updated it to version 1.2.5 and it supposedly works. How do I get the update?
48 Posted by Joy H on 01 Jul, 2012 06:35 AM
IT DOESN'T WORK. SAME ISSUES!
49 Posted by Harry R on 11 Jul, 2012 01:39 AM
Are there any other bulk product upload options. i have been considering Jigoshop, but I have 4000 items to upload. I certainly don't want to do them 1 at a time
50 Posted by JOY HEIER on 11 Jul, 2012 03:21 AM
The import worked okay. The only issues I have experienced is when making revisions and merging with existing products. Also the product attributes are in reverse order so I would suggest making your initial csv upload with the attributes in the reverse order. When you merge products the csv attributes should be in the correct order. When merging products I have also had to go into every individual product and tick the box in order for it to be visible. The export does not work at all. Not products, orders, store, etc.
However, I like Jigoshop's product display and they don't nickel and dime you on essential plugins to make it functional like Woocommerce does. Michael Visser (visser labs) is the only person making the import/export plugins for Jigoshop, Woocomerce and WP-Ecommerce. Pick you poison. I'm sticking with Jigoshop. I like the way the products display and the other 2 ecommerce will have the same issues I have mentioned. I would suggest cutting your initial import file into smaller quantities to avoid issues. I'm doing mine 20 at a time so I can double check everything is correct. On a 20 item import 3 items did not have the correct price. It showed up as $2 instead of $2400. This is ecommerce pluggin #5 and i've decided to stick with it. Paid or free, they all seem to have issues. The ones that make you become a member in order to view the forums are the one's I would run from (Woocommerce) because that's where you get the heads up on the issues you may or may not encounter. Tells me they have A LOT to hide!

Premium product import by Visser Labs. The initial import works well and there are templates on the Visser Labs site to help you set up your CSV files. However, the export option does not function at all. Visser labs is the only one making a pluggin for the other 2 major free WP ecommerce plugins (Woocommerce and WP Ecommerce).

Hi guys, I'm collecting issues from across the Jigoshop support forum as well as my own support forum for fixes to be included in the 1.2.6 Plugin update of the importer.
I'll be updating this topic and would like to work with you all to ensure these Plugins are working as expected. Plugin updates will appear in Dashboard > Updates within your WordPress Administration.

@ Visser Labs. The link you had posted takes me to Premium Product Import 2.1. Somehow I updated to V. 2.5. I ran into a problem today when uploading new products because they they partially share a common SKU #. Let me give you an example. I have Air Conditioning units that include the electric heater in the price. In order to properly process the order the sky has the AC unit model # and the heater model # in included in the sku. They are separated by an underscore. Today I tried to add all the models of heaters and 70% of them were rejected because of a duplicate sku. This is going to be a huge issue because many air conditioners will be sold as combined systems and some will be sold as individual parts (ie. Condensing units, air handlers, heaters, etc.). I need to have the correct sku that is inclusive or the individual part sku #'s in order to process the order correctly. Any ideas on how to best accomplish this?

I
have discovered another one for you. I have some products with partially duplicate sku #'s. Air conditioners with heat strip included in price (Ex. Sku abcd_efgh).. Today I was trying to upload parts and accessories and the sku of the separate heater part (also used on other packaged AC systems) was "efgh." It was not uploaded due to duplicate sku#.
With air conditioning systems and parts being sold individually and as complete systems with separate and all inclusive pricing this is going to be a nightmare if the imported product is rejected for having 4-9 similar characters in a row. I'm dealing with mix and match heaters, condensing units, air handlers and heaters as well as packaged units which will have with very similar or exact matching skus with different price structures depending upon how it is purchased. I tried changing the sku by adding "Electric Heater" attached to the sku# but it was a no go. "efgh-electric heater" was also rejected as a dupe.

Hi JOY, the SKU detection is case sensitive and checks against the complete SKU e.g. abcd_efgh not abcd or efgh so I'm unsure how you're getting partial SKU duplicate errors. I'll reproduce this on my side to see if I can mirror the issue, a sample CSV upload would greatly assist.
57 Posted by JOY HEIER on 26 Aug, 2012 08:05 PM
I only found one instance so far. I doubled checked the original csv fie and it wasn't present on the csv.
Also, The store exporter puts tags in the category column and does not export all of them. Categories weren't being exported. Many columns were also not exported such as visibility, seo title and description, image path etc.

I tried to upgrade from Premium Product Import 1.25 to the newer v 1.26 which I just downloaded from the Jigoshop site but the product version still says 1.25. Any clues?
59 Posted by uahac on 24 Sep, 2012 07:27 PM
Never mind. I received an error message saying that the upload filed but v 1.26 was there. Just had to activate it after deactivating 1.25.
