I am under the gun on this project. I have hundreds of product to add to this e--commerce site and I am on thy 5th pluggin. I have 2 issues. The text on the "select" button is too high and my sidebar disappears on the product page, It also displays a list of all of my pages. Please help. I'm primarily a designer, not a programmer. I created the theme using Artisteer and it's not based on any other theme. I have to get this site looking right by tomorrow night and at least have it partially populated. I was hoping my biggest issue would be learning another pluggin and the product hierarchy. I'm attaching screenshots and my php files

Hi Joy! I'm afraid this is a task for yours Theme's Author (
http://www.artisteer.com/).. or some freelancer (on Jobs category on this
    Forum).

    Artiseer is a program Ivica.
Joy, you cannot use Artiseer to make a WordPress website regardless of what
e-commerce system you use. Jigoshop, Wp-ecommerce and woo commerce all
require specific methods of coding that is not done in Artiseer. You will
either need to hire someone in Jobs or go to a different platform (your
    platform being WordPress) entirely.

Thx Chris, but as a consequence of that program there is a custom made
Theme built. Hm, in that case it would mean that Joy has to contact herself
as the Theme Author LOL! :-)

I don't mind ditching the theme and customizing 2011. I am also building a duplicate site using just 2011 to see if was a theme issue. However, I was using eShop before this and did not have any issues. The reason I ditched eShop was the inability to export my product pages in CSV format.

I've built a lot of sites with Artisteer and so far Jigoshop is the only plugin that has given me this issue. I didn't like wp-ecommerce because it was a pain and I didn't like Woocommerce because they "nickle and dime" you @ $50 a pop for every essential plugin that you need. The eshop plugin displayed only in rows which didn't care for. Thecartpress didn't have a working csv import/export plugin and only showed shipping weights as kg despite having set everything to USA standards. So here I am at Jigoshop. I can work with any theme and change the header and menu bar color and be happy if this is the only issue I run into. Unfortunately it's not.

@Joy, its not impossible to build a WordPress using Artiseer, its impossible to build an e-commerce solution using Jigoshop or WooCommerce with Artiseer. Two different things. The two shop plugins, require specific code to be added so that the plugins can work, and Artiseer does not make this code automatically.

I am also building the site using 2011 to test whether or not it's was my theme. Initially I was going to use the site to test ecommerce plugins to find the most workable plugin for my products. The product page display issue seems to be the least of my problems. I paid $50 for a csv imprort/export plugin that doesn't seem to work for anyone. PErhaps it's time to look for another ecommerce plugin before I lose my job over it.

You've pretty much exhausted all the shop plugins.
WooCommerce and Jigoshop are based on the same set of code.
You didn't like eShop, nor Thecartpress, and for the same reason as the eShop won't like WP-Ecommerce. The CSV import/export is a third party plugin, so we can't force the author to update it.

At this point, you have exhausted all of the free (meaning you don't have to pay for the shop plugin itself plugins). You will either need to shell out a couple hundred for one of those paid show plugins, and then more for their extensions, or abandon using WordPress altogether. Which given your deadline of 24 hours ago, does not seem like a viable solution. Perhaps, hiring someone to add all the products in Jigoshop for you would be an option (you could probably find someone in Jobs to do it, but given the "hundreds remark" would probably be at least tomorrow at noon by the time they finish doing that.

As a sidenote: Everyone, meaning two people, is not alot. We have hundreds of people using that plugin without an issue.

I understand. And when you combine Artisteer with Templateer there are so many php files that it it would be easier to customize 2011 than spend the time going through all of them. I like building themes quickly and easily as I have many clients. This is my 1st huge e-commerce site though. I can customize 2011 to my employer's desire. Then I have 4 more to build out. If I can get this one working properly and get a good csv product export/import option to download 1 product to use as a template and then upload large amounts of data I'll be satisfied providing, the the PayPal payment gateway works properly. From what I have read in the forum it seems many people are having issues with that too. This is more frustrating than I anticipated given the amount of products I need to enter along their many variations. I was hoping that would be my only issue. Since Worpress is so popular I find it difficult to believe that no-one has come up with working solutions to handle CSV import/export. So far I like the way Jigoshop displays products so I'm going to stick with it on one of the sites unless I run into any other major issues.

The problem arises from the fact that products were overhauled after that release. While Visser labs is usually up to date on most plugins, it does maintain a substantial amount of plugins. I'll get in touch with him for you so he can issue you either a refund or a fix (or both).

Joy, why exactly doesn't the Product Importer Deluxe work for you? Is that the plugin you were referring to?

@Matt from the sound of this and the related forum here post its both the importer and exporter plugin that do not work.
