Wanted:Promotional Plugin for Social Media

For the developers out there ( I wish I knew how to code),
I have an idea for you.
We want to grow our pinterest "following" base. To do this, we were
going to offer a promotional code for a free product or whatever
the coupon code is for during that promotion.
It would be awesome to have some widget that would allow you to track if the person successfully "followed us" and then if they did, reveal a promo code.
Not sure how hard/easy this is, but I thought it would be a good idea and something other business would want to use - especially fashion/apparel like my store.
Let me know if you need more details about my idea.

And could also be expanded to facebook, twitter, youtube - whatever interest is out there.
Just thought social media is so powerful for small businesses like us, this would be a great marketing tool

Pininterest? No go (not a very friendly API there)
However, the Autom8ted plugin I'm working on allows users to log in/register an account using FB or Twitter accounts. If they logged in via one of those, the promo code, would be as simple as checking the status of follow and posting a code.
I'll think about it. How soon would you need this?

This was just a brainstorming Idea we had last night and not sure how logistically it would happen, but I thought I'd share the idea to developers.
Interested in seeing your plugin and see how it may be useful for my company.

Autom8ted isn't going to be finished for probably another 2-3 weeks.
Then we are going to do a 2 week beta-testing to find any bugs. If you
